Beavis and Butthead

I just drank some hot tea with honey from a Beavis and Butthead coffee mug. I have had a very persistent cough for several days now. My mom suggested I try my granny's old remedy - whiskey, honey, and cinnamon. Drat! We seem to be out of cinnamon! ....Kidding! We do not have whiskey, ha! Anyway, I will try that tomorrow. For now, the tea seems to have helped.

Today, I went to the Dollar General (exciting) and to the local public library for the first time. It happens to be just down the road from my house, which means I no longer have to go all the way out to the D to find books. It's sad that I've lived here over a year and never knew. They even accept the same library card! The library is much smaller than the one in D, but it's doable. I managed to find three new books to read, all of which are part of series I've enjoyed. That is always awesome.

Tonight, Drew, Sidney and I took our annual Christmas card photo. I like to send out the cards that you can create yourself. I do mine through Wolf Camera, usually. They are surprisingly very inexpensive. Back in the summer, I sent out around 50 wedding announcements and it only cost about $15 - not including postage, though. Anyway, the photo turned out really nice. I love how photogenic Sid is for family pictures. Drew says it's because I have taken so many of him since we got him last year that the phrase, "Wanna take a picture?" is part of the long list of words and phrases that he understands.

Tomorrow, mom is helping me take my car for a tire balance and rotation. Well, she is going to be my driver while I wait, that is. We will probably grab lunch and browse the mall. I also have to make a return at Wal Mart. I hope that it's not a huge ordeal. I despise lines and retail hassle. Tuesdays also bring new episodes of 90210...the new series, obviously. I really liked the original series most, but this one is filled with enough teenage craziness to keep my attention!

I am proud. I've posted an entry twice today. Hopefully this means I am slowly getting closer to my goal. Goodnight!
