I am sitting here waiting until I can go use the shower. My hubby is home sick today and is napping off a stomach ache in our room, thus, I am unable to shower just yet. I have surfed around online long enough and I think I may go read my new Cosmo magazine, but first I want to say.....
I had a second interview yesterday at the same place as last week. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I really think it went well and I really enjoyed meeting the person who would be my boss. Let's keep our fingers, toes, and eyes crossed that something comes of this! If not, at least I was given the chance to be reminded that I am worth SOMEthing....a feeling I did not get very often in the past from employers. It was nice to be treated with respect and to be praised somewhat. I needed the confidence boost, I mean. :)
After the interview, I came home and waited around until my dinner date with friends. I met them at a delicious italian place in the D....mmm! I had a delish dish of seafood pasta and loved every bite. I thought for sure it would upset my belly but nope! I was able to down it with a flair and to this moment have not felt any sort of wrath. It may be that I've been "flushing" out my system with about a half gallon of water per day. I've not had a beverage that wasn't water since last Wednesday! I have had to...huhum....pee a lot, but I have lost about 5.5 pounds, so I guess it's been worth it! :) I feel better, too. As a celebration of my determination, I plan to eat as unhealthily as possible this upcoming weekend, hahaha. So counter-productive.
Ok! Cosmo time! And what about this gorgeous weather!!!
