I sometimes wonder if this blog is find-able, search-able, any kind of -able, really. I doubt that much of what I say would be considered newsworthy, and not one bit of it is scandalous, but I have reservations just the same. Hopefully I come across as witty and maybe a little goofy, but certainly not unprofessional. Again, the purpose of this blog is to inspire myself to write anything at all, impressive or not!
I went and got a hair trim today. I tried someone new and was very pleased with her work AND her price. Afterwards, I went to my parents' house for a visit and for lunch. I had french bread pizza and it was superb. I followed it with one powdered donut and an ice cream sandwich. Then, I Facebook-stalked with my mom. Yes, I did say that. :) My brother and his g/f showed up from school about that time and we spent most of the evening hanging out, talking. I LOVE family time.
When I finally decided to head home, it had already gotten pretty dark outside. I thought I might stop for food on the way home, but ended up stuck in some serious highway traffic just before my exit. Though I am unsure of the details, apparently there was a pretty bad car wreck. Traffic was backed up for well over an hour; in fact, I ended up having to do an incredibly illegal move and go up the ON ramp on a different exit so that I could try an alternate route. I was not the only car to do this :) I had been in the line of cars waiting for about 45 minutes, and, according to Navigator online (Drew was keeping me 'in the know' via phone), the 'clean up' was going to last for at least that much longer, and I really had to use the restroom! HAHA! So I did not stop for food and ended up eating a deli meat sandwich at home. While all of that is incredibly fascinating (mmhmm), I truly hope anyone involved in the wreck is okay. I watched the news but it was not mentioned. Maybe I will get the details tomorrow.
