Spike

I MUST start this post by saying that Drew and I LOVED our experience at the restaurant last night for V-Day. The atmosphere, food, and calmness of the entire place was just divine. We are both very spoiled now because our steaks were so incredible. We discussed maybe making this trip our annual Valentine's dinner plan, and if we do, we will surely never regret the decision! I love my husband more and more every day; he has truly proven to me what love can really be. My gift was a gorgeous freshwater pearl necklace with matching earrings and a bracelet. They are absolutely perfect. He knows me so well! For him, our plan is to replace his BROKEN wedding band! Hahaha. He wants to get a titanium ring that will last longer, so we hope to go out next weekend to get that settled. He says he feels so "off" without wearing one. Aw.

Now, an explanation! This post is titled Spike because that is all I dreamed about last night. We have been watching old reruns (is that redundant?) of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Spike is a main character. He was in my dream last night and we were walking in the woods together. That is literally all I recall, so I will not even bother to analyze it. I can say why I dreamed about him and it's for no real "deep" reason!

In other news, Official Day 1 at my new job ROCKED. I truly am 100% happy with the decision I made to accept the position and I am so grateful to have been chosen. I can tell I am really going to love this job and I am so happy that all of the confusion in months past has lead me to it. I am ready to thrive! :)

With that being said, I must head to bed so that I can be up early tomorrow for another glorious day.
