"I am bald!"

My husband just came into the living room shouting that he was bald. Silly goose.

I noticed a couple of small typos in my last post.....and let me just tell you how irritated that makes me! ;)

I did end up going shopping yesterday and I purchased two new pairs of heels for work and a new purse for only $23 of my own money, thanks to my gift card and some coupons I received because I signed up for the store's email newsletter. Nice. I am smitten over my new bag. It's a rose-like color and has many pockets and tuck-away places. It holds everything and more!

Today I woke up at 7:30 on the clock, but it was actually 8:30 I guess. Very confusing. Then, we went to the grocery store and spent a small fortune. I secretly love doing this because I know we will avoid eating out for the next couple of weeks to make our large purchase seem worth it and eating in generally seems healthier for us. We also got Drew some multivitamins to start taking. I hope that it will boost his energy, immune system, and all of that other good stuff. He is currently cleaning the toilet, so maybe it is already working ;) I love how I am blogging and he is scrubbing!

We watched 2012 last night. Wow. I was emotional throughout most of the movie. The message behind all of the apocalyptic destruction seemed to be love for mankind and being kind and giving to others, even if it means your own turmoil in the end. Everyone just kept 'paying it forward' throughout the film, sacrificing their lives for the next person, until the final group of Earth survivors remained. Despite the scary undertone, it was surprisingly a very sweet and hopeful movie. Go figure. It sent me to bed in a funky mood, though, and I had fitful dreams that I now cannot remember. Apparently, though, I repeatedly stole the covers all night. Oops!

I guess I should go assist the hubs now. Break over!
