Red

I am wearing RED today to honor a precious little boy named Conner Jones, a CFer who received his angel wings this week. I'm proud to do so, though I wish it were for different reasons. There is nothing more sobering than a child losing his battle with an illness. However, I find solice in the fact that I know many people who are doing whatever they can to find a cure for CF. I swear I'd take a thousand less full breaths a day if it meant CFers could breathe easier that day. I truly hope my fundraising efforts begin to pay off. I understand that everyone is going through a really difficult financial time (trust that we are, at times, too) but I wish I could impress upon everyone just how important this is. Don't eat out at lunch for two whole weeks and instead, donate. Skip your next hair-dye appointment and instead, donate. Use money you've received from friends and family for a birthday, holiday, graduation, etc. and instead, donate.

Why does something so simple to me seem so hard for others?

Here's to a beautiful day filled with love and laughter. Feel blessed for your health and the health of your loved ones.
