"We've got a cord down!"

Yesterday, I received a surprise piece of mail from my good friend Werdnelle [[I love receiving things in the mail. Bills, bad news, and pranks involving flaming...you know...are excluded, of course.]]

Anyway, I opened my unexpected gift to find something that had me instantly excited. A small, blue book titled One Line A Day: A 5 Year Memory Book.

You basically fill in a few lines every day for a year. [I am choosing to write random blurbs about what happened that day.] Then, when the year changes, you fill in new things each day below the previous year's entry. You are given a space to fill in the year, also. So, for example, on January 26, 2012 I wrote that I received the book. Today (the 27th) I wrote a few more memories based on what happened today in the spaces designated for this year. Next year in 2013 I will write down memories on each of these days, and so on and so forth for five years!

I am very excited about this, as it is yet another way to promote my writing. It will be a tribute to two of my favorite things: 1) writing 2) memories. I only hope that my days prove to be interesting enough to write about and read about later! Because, in this book, I'm only providing a quick snapshot. I save the longer, more drawn out musings about my days for this blog...or my personal journal if said musings are, uh, personal. :P
