S'been a while since I last posted a dream. To be honest, I've not remembered that many, lately. Disclaimer: I do, in fact, have a nest on my porch. That part is very true. The rest is/was my imagination!

I was in my bedroom watching television. Suddenly, I hear a loud screech and a crash that seems to come from my front door. I run to the window and see an enormous grey bird with a long beak that resembles a rough bone. He is hovering on my front porch. The sweet little mama bird who has built her nest and laid her eggs on my porch is frantically defending her nest against this beast. I fumble with the lock on the door, unable to move as quickly as I'd like to come to the mama bird's aid. I finally make it outside and randomly a sword appears in my hand. I begin to battle the bird beast, who has grown in size since I first saw that he was there.

I have no idea how this dream ended!!! I woke up feeling okay, so probably I defeated the monster bird, but I was fretful anyway and immediately ran to check on my mama bird. She was resting comfortably on her nest so I think all is good in the hood, homies.

Now for a quick interpretation! Yay! (Recall I pull all of my interpretations from one source, and I have no real sincere feelings towards these interpretations - they are just for fun)!

Bird - To see a bird may refer to a lack of understanding of the heart. This can symbolize your goals, aspirations and hopes.

Nest - A nest can refer to many things, including emotional dependency.

Sword - To dream that you are handling a sword can represent strength, ambition, competitive nature, decisiveness and willpower.

So, according to this, I am apparently looking to have more power in my love life. Or perhaps more emotional attention. That's not incredibly hard to believe - most men aren't aces at providing emotional comfort and attention, but to say this of MY hubby? That's just ridiculous. ;)
