Untitled

I was sleeping in my childhood home, in my childhood room, in my childhood bed. It was storming. I am then watching this 'scene' from a bird's eye view overlooking the house and driveway. My parents' grey Chevy Blazer is parked in the driveway. Suddenly, it is picked up by the violent storm and thrown onto the roof. It has landed just above my younger brother's bedroom. Now I am back in my bed, sitting up in terror. I sprint out of my room and into his, pulling him from under the now-collapsing ceiling. My mother screams in horror from behind me, and then I wake up.

Well. That was just a lovely dream, now wasn't it? Let's analyze, shall we?

Childhood Home - To dream of your childhood home indicates your desire for building a family. It also may reflect aspects of yourself that were prominent or developed when you lived in this home. This may indicate a feeling of unfinished emotions and/or actions that are now being triggered by a waking situation.

.....Huh?

Collapse - I couldn't find anything that directly interprets a car falling on a house, but the general concept of one's house "collapsing" can refer to a feeling of "out with the old and in with the new," ie: a subtle subconcious urge to move on or move out from your home. AWESOME. We're kind of in the motions to start planning to move, so that certainly makes sense.

Storm - Signifies struggles, shock, or even catastrophe in your waking life as well as unexpressed fears or other emotions. On a more positive note, it may signify rapid changes ahead. Delightful!

Brother - Really just symbolizes your real-life relationship with him, depending on the nature of the dream.

So basically I am over-protective and/or worried about my brother (must fix that!), I have changes ahead that may or may not relate to a move (YAY!), and I secretly want a baseball-team's worth of children.....

Pfffft. ;)
