Num nums

I have posted before about how I eat (but I should have called that post "How I SHOULD Eat"). I am not always at my best, so when I do get it right I like to pump myself up by bragging about it.


Today, I brought this monstrosity with me to work so that I could stay on track with my plan for food today. For breakfast I had a whole wheat bagel with low-fat cream cheese. For lunch, I prepared a salad with kale, spinach, chard, red peppers, cucumbers, and italian dressing. I also had hummus and some delectable new crackers, pictured below. They are AWESOME.


I failed to eat my snack this afternoon, though. I brought yummy Greek yogurt... but didn't eat it. Oh well, you win some you lose some! For dinner tonight, you ask? Baked chicken, green peas, and some carrots. Mmmm. ;)

  1. I love your "menu!" It seems we eat similarly. I generally shop at Ingles but the Kroger near my work is great! I'm glad you are finding non-dairy foods. I have heard that it can help with weight loss (a friend on FB recently lost 20 pounds just by cutting it from her diet, for health reasons too)! Good luck to you! What are your favorite things to grill? We're still trying to get our chicken to not be so.... dry. :/
