Just Another Lazy Sunday

Whew! What a lazy ending to a fun weekend! While Drew and I didn't do anything too exciting for his birthday, we did enjoy three full days together. We ate out some, watched a few good movies, and even straightened up the house together. It was nice to do activities, just the two of us. We've earned a lazy Sunday!


Yesterday, Drew's parents took us for lunch at O'Charleys. I had the amazing quesadillas that I usually get. They are heavenly. We also had a visit from my parents which was nice. Last night I made delicious chicken fajitas for dinner and we had birthday cake for dessert. Yum! I have a picture of his cake before we dug in. I think it was a success. We also watched 28 Weeks Later, in honor of the big 28. I think Drew enjoyed his birthday weekend, but I don't think he looks forward to returning to a normal work week!

I have a semi-busy week planned. Tomorrow, my mom and I are going to run a few errands for something we're planning. I won't go into too many details here, just in case. :) I also have finally started lists towards cleaning out our two extra bedrooms. We've planned for some time to make one room an office and the other a guest room. They are both on their way, but are still pretty junky. I want to tackle this project soon. I feel like if I accomplish a few tasks that I want to around the house, I will feel more open to starting bigger projects.

Christmas is only 12 days away! I think we're going to spend Christmas Eve with my grandparents in the mountains. It should be fun. I have just a handful of Christmas-related things to finalize and plan to this week. I want to avoid the mall if I can, though. It's just insane out there this time of year.

Well, I have very little to say. I'm off to watch some more Party of Five!
